Partiendo de las palabras y filosofía de nuestro poeta Federico García Lorca “el teatro es un atajo pedagógico”, en el curso escolar 2020/21 realizamos tres talleres de teatro dentro de nuestro proyecto europeo “ARTE Y NATURALEZA A TRAVÉS DE LAS ARTES PLÁSTICAS Y ESCÉNICAS”. “CARTA AL POETA” en teatro de títeres y sombras, “LA ZAPATERA PRODIGIOSA” presentación de personajes y “BLOOD WEDDING”, adaptación de “Bodas de sangre”, todas ellas en inglés realizadas por nuestros alumnos de 2º de ESO.
Fuimos muy valientes teniendo en cuenta la situación sanitaria que atravesábamos pero estamos orgullosos hoy de poder presentar estos tres productos a nuestra comunidad escolar. Ha sido un sueño hecho realidad para profesores y alumnos. Estas tres obras representan el trabajo realizado por muchas personas. Una función teatral conlleva mucho esfuerzo e ilusión.
Debemos detenernos aquí y resaltar la labor maravillosa de muchos.. .
La escuela Estación Diseño de Granada se aventuró con nosotros. Estudiamos las obras, hicieron bocetos, tuvimos encuentros....con dos grandes profesionales de la educación Silvia Luque y Tania Romero. Para “Carta al poeta”, contamos con la colección “Salvador Lorca” de la alumna Marina Meca. Para “La zapatera” y “Bodas de Sangre”, Irene Benítez, María Zapata, Maria del Carmen Ortega, Bibiana Sánchez y Laura Martínez, alumnas del 3º grado de Diseño y moda diseñaron y realizaron el vestuario, fruto de una colaboración que tiene la frontera abierta.
La música…, trabajo duro y tenaz de nuestra profesora de música Amalia que supo dar sonido y forma a las obras con su grupo “SENSE OF VALUES QUARTET” y alumnos de nuestro centro. Con la tradición musical trabajada por Lorca con arreglos musicales de jazz dio a los productos una forma nueva y al mismo tiempo nos trasladó a principios del siglo XX. Lorca dijo que “el teatro es poesía que se sale del libro para hacerse humana”. Debemos decir que la música en nuestras obras hizo que los guiones se volvieran humanos, crearon una experiencia nueva.
¿Y los escenarios? Son producto de un estudio hecho en nuestro grupo de los distintos proyectos del centro. Biblioteca, Plan de igualdad, … todas las personas integrantes colaboraron con lecturas y análisis de la obra de Lorca...¿el resultado? Labor de tantas manos de profesores, alumnos, limpiadoras, … gracias a ellos pudimos ambientar nuestros escenarios.
Y por supuesto nos gustaría desde aquí agradecer a Carlos Guevara y su esposa, artistas que nos brindaron su ayuda realizando la grabación y producción de los videos junto con el operario. Ellos fueron piezas esenciales para dar color a las representaciones. Cada detalle, cada color de luz están estudiados para transmitir la simbología de Lorca.
Todo ello fue posible gracias al ayuntamiento de Alfacar que pese a inconvenientes varios nos permitió la utilización del teatro en tiempos COVID.
Con esta publicación de las obras y del Genially que las acompaña, hoy abrimos nuestras fronteras ya que todo será estudiado y trabajado en cinco centros europeos (Italia, Austria, Alemania y Letonia). Nuestros socios en Europa podrán acceder a parte de nuestro patrimonio y a Nuestro poeta y dramaturgo García Lorca a través del trabajo de nuestros chicas y chicos que son los verdaderos protagonistas de este proyecto integrado.
Su ilusión, su estudio, sus ganas y su esfuerzo están plasmados en estos videos. Esperemos que disfruten con ellos. Gracias.
Our poet Federico García Lorca’s words, “theater is a pedagogical shortcut”, inspired us in this European project “ART AND NATURE THROUGH THE PLASTIC AND PERFORMING ARTS ”. Thus, in the 2020/21 school year we held three drama workshops : "LETTER TO THE POET", a puppet and shadow play, "LA ZAPATERA PRODIGIOSA" presentation of characters and "BLOOD WEDDING", an adaptation of the original play. All of them were performed in English by our 2nd year ESO students.
We were very brave, considering the pandemic we were going through. Nevertheless, today we are proud to present these three productions to our school community. It has been ‘a dream come true’ for teachers and students. These three pieces represent the work done by many people as each performance takes a lot of effort and enthusiasm.
We must stop here and highlight the wonderful work of many ....
The Granada Design Studio school ventured to join us. We studied the works, made sketches, had meetings … Irene Benítez, María Zapata, Maria del Carmen Ortega, Bibiana Sánchez and Laura Martínez, 3rd grade students of Design and Fashion, designed and made the costumes, a success that keeps the door open to future collaboration.
The music…the hard and tenacious work by our music teacher Amalia , who knew how to add sound and shape the works with her group “SENSE OF VALUES QUARTET” and students from our school. With the musical tradition used by Lorca and some jazz musical arrangements, she gave the pieces a new shape and, at the same time, took us back to the beginning of the 20th century. Lorca said that "theater is poetry that leaves the book to become human." The music in our plays helped the scripts become human, they created a new experience.
And the stages? They are the product of a study of the different projects at the school : Library, Equality Plan, ... all the members collaborated with readings and analysis of Lorca's work ... the result? Work of so many hands of teachers, students, cleaners, ... thanks to them we were able to create our sets for the plays.
Of course, we would like to thank Carlos Guevara and his wife, artists who, together with the operator, gave us their help by recording and producing the videos. They were essential pieces to add color to the representations. Every detail, every color of light is studied to convey the symbolism of Lorca.
All this was possible thanks to Alfacar Town Council, who, despite some issues, allowed us to use the theater in COVID times.
By posting the works and the Genially that accompanies them, today we open our borders as everything will be studied and used in five European schools (Italy, Austria, Germany and Latvia). Our partners in Europe will be able to access part of our heritage and our poet and playwright García Lorca through the work of our girls and boys who are the true protagonists of this integrated project.
